David J. Stana, M. Photog., Cr. Photog., CPP has a very diverse background in photography and the audio/visual field including Producer, Director, Photographer, Cinematographer & Staging Director along with having a CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certificate from AVIXA (INFOCOMM). All of it originated from his love of imaging and photography.
He has produced programs for some of the largest companies in America for annual sales conferences, marketing campaigns and employee training and also supported them with an extensive staging department that could support the quality of each production. His clients included a list of the Fortune 500 such as AT&T, Metropolitan Life, Alcoa, 84 Lumber, Cornell University, Snap-On-Tools, UPMC, National Council of Community Hospitals, and The Coleman Company. Most companies were unique, but similar in the desire to present their organizations professionally and creatively meeting their communication objectives.
As President, Producer/Director of Photography of A-I Productions, Inc. , a corporate communications company in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, David spent 16 years building a successful audio/visual production and staging company. In the end creating one of the largest production and staging companies in Pittsburgh at that time. Of course that background serves him well in the professional photography services he provides today.
After relocating to Dallas TX in 1996, he started Silver Star Pictures in 1997 and focused on his one true passion - Photography. Utilizing his vast experience from the production & presentation field, his initial focus was on event and portrait photography embracing an all-digital platform with modern photographic techniques such as HDR, panoramic imaging, light painting, time-laps, compositing and different post-processing software.

David's experience in supporting business to business applications led to his offering services targeting corporations that need professional photography related to interior and exterior architecture along with providing portrait services for their executives and employees. Clients include AT&T, TX Republic Bank, Neiman Marcus, Raytheon, City of Frisco, and Boys and Girls Club of America Etc.

His philosophy of listening to the customer, exceeding expectations, meeting communication goals and staying with-in budget has not changed and has awarded him by earning long-term customer relationships as well as numerous international awards including a number of international Telly Awards, Matrix Awards, Nikon Response and Recognition Awards, Color Camera Club Awards and PPA - Professional Photographers of America merits & Degrees.
