David J. Stana, M. Photog., Cr. Photog., CPP

The Rest of the Story

David J. Stana holds a distinguished, multi-decade background spanning professional photography, film production, and commercial media presentation. As a Certified Master Photographer (M. Photog., Cr., CPP) and a former Certified Technology Specialist (CTS via AVIXA/INFOCOMM), his lifelong career as a producer, director, cinematographer, and staging specialist originated from a single core passion: visual storytelling.

Corporate Production & Visual Innovation

As President, Producer, and Director of Photography for Audio-Images later to become A-I Productions, Inc. in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, David spent 16 years building one of the region’s premier audio/visual production, staging, and media presentation firms.

Throughout his career, David has operated on the leading edge of communication technology:

  • Pioneering Multi-Image Presentations (1970s): Before digital video became a commercial standard, David leveraged complex multi-projector slide synchronization and wide-format panoramic display techniques to create immersive, high-impact visual experiences for corporate audiences.

  • Early Computer Technology Integration (1970s): Recognizing the potential of early computing platforms, he adopted digital programming tools to control presentation timing, multi-screen sequencing, and studio operations long before computer automation became commonplace.

  • Corporate Video Broadcast Pioneer (Early 1980s): As corporate communications transitioned to motion media, David was among the early pioneers to integrate high-end video production into corporate strategy—producing executive broadcasts, training programs, and nationwide marketing campaigns.

Through A-I Productions, he delivered these innovative media solutions to major Fortune 500 corporations, healthcare networks, and academic institutions, including:

  • AT&T

  • Metropolitan Life

  • Alcoa

  • Snap-On Tools

  • 84 Lumber
